The superiority of women? A closer look at leadership in FLR

Despite all the rhetoric the advances of women have been going like the stock market, a little forward, a big step back. For a long time women made gains in executive management only to decline these past few years, women are showing up in politics then falling out of favor. So why is it that some women and men have been writing about the superiority of women when women seem to be going backwards?

It is because some women are superior in some ways to some men. Now superior does not mean infallible or supreme, nor does it mean that men are inferior in every way. The truth is aside from social barriers women can do most of what men can do and vise versa. The next truth is that some women are better than others just as some men are at being superior. Just being a woman does not get you any points, the superior traits of women come out in some women and not in all as is also true for men.

How are women superior to men you ask That is the 5 dollar question. The question depends on the woman. There are lots of things women do that make set them apart but don`t needfully make them superior. Women live longer than men. Women have better communication skills as a gender. Women get higher education and as a gender get better grades than men. Okay superior means "something which is higher in a hierarchical structure of any kind" and best is always higher then better. That means higher grades can't make women superior because some women flunk out and some men get strait A's. The meaning of the word superior makes it hard to favor longevity because it is just longer not needfully best. Women as a gender are just not naturally superior to men and men are not neither superior to women. But a women who leads an FLR is superior to the man she leads as the couple has designed their lives that way.

She gets to be superior because she is leading. In any hierarchical structure those on top are superior to those under their position.

Here are some things to ponder

  • Generally men make more money than women
  • Generally men recover from divorce faster than women
  • Generally men are stronger physically than women
  • Generally men are faster physically than women
  • Generally men get higher positions in management
  • Generally society defers to men for decisions
  • Generally society looks to men for leadership
  • Generally society looks to men for protection
  • Of the richest people, most are men
  • Of the smartest people (IQ), most are men
  • and you can make a list like this for women too which means nothing about superiority

But none of those things give men superiority over a women in a female led relationship because he has asked for her to take the lead. He has asked her ot become head of household. Truly women in female led relationships are superior to men - there is no debate.
