It's a complicated question, but in general I think the world needs more female leadership. Women can be great decision makers, innovators, and leaders. And men can benefit so much from being led by women.

Right now women cannot come to an agreement about anything, we are in the same condition as men - divided. Even something as simple as equal pay for equal work cannot attract all women to agree as some traditional women think women should not work or if they do they are worth less than men because they want a family.

Ann1000Days I am a conservative Republican male but 2018 is going to be a big year for Women Democrats. Perhaps this could be a big step towards a matriarchy. It will not matter if I agree with them or not but election night is going to be stunning for us GOP boys. The results will be clean and decisive: Women Democrats by a Knock Out ding ding ! Kind of exciting for me!

Ann1000Days, I agree there is a great deal of discord in the women's camp. The "real woman" movement is a last gasp effect of a failing group faced with an undeniable force. This division will become less and less apparent as education improves (which is in jeopardy at the moment) and these reactionary ideas die out. The thing of this is many women are so fixed that the ideas will die out with the generations that hold those ideas. As long as the Christian Right holds sway in the minds of many women these repressive ideas will continue. Other religions are just as patriarchal and the same principle apply here as education increases and the older generations die out things will change. The patriarchy has led the way for thousands of years and will take quite a while to change. I probably won't see a significant change in my lifetime and gen x and gen y may not see that change either, but perhaps millenials may see significant change in their lifetime where the patriarchy is finally surpressed by a matriarchal society. Education is a key factor.

Its a big jump for women to rule everyone from just home or men. There have been women rulers good and bad. Would woman start less war?

I think that if Women ruled the world, and made all of the decisions in the world, the world would automatically become a more sympathetic and a more reasonable place in which to live. Women have the gifts of empathy and understanding that most men lack. I think that those gifts are probably a part of every woman's DNA. I'm not sure if that is correct or not, but I think that a Woman-controlled world would benefit everyone, including men. That's my guess. Joe

I think the women have the potential to be a powerful force of good in this world and fully support the female empowerment. I would even prefer if the women became the dominant sex, at least they can't do any worse than men.
