I’m not sure if this is allowed but I had a genuine question to all the Doms out here – have you all too faced a ridiculous level of ghosting from men who sounded very promising in the beginning? How did you deal with it? How does that shape your overall experience of FLR?

I’m honestly tired of being misled by self-proclaimed Subs who promise the moon and the stars in the initial stage of talking and then vanish into thin air after a few days. This also leads me to my next important question – is it realistic to expect submissive men in a brutally patriarchal world today? Because all I see is egoistic males who live in a fantasy world and refuse to embrace authentic FLR that is far from pure BDSM.

Help me out here ladies.

Sometimes I wonder how much shame plays into it. We do live in a world where we (men) are taught, subconsciously and consciously, from a young age that we are supposed to be leaders in relationships. For those of us who don’t want that, shame can easily get in the way of us taking the final steps to enter into and stay in an FLR.

Silly in lots of ways, but a real and difficult stepping stone for many of us to get over.

Yes, I have experienced lots of ghosting from men writing long introductions acting like they are this amazing flr partner & ghost …..
I have had lots pretend they are submissive & true flr seekers & only looking for a sugar momma type situation where they stay at home & look pretty for the woman?????? That is not a true flr imo

I do believe its possible to find a man like this, as I have had real flr relationships in my time that were true to the flr concept. But …… I met these people in real life & I think meeting men like this online with all the ways to hide makes it more challenging.

Yes I have experienced that just recently. This man and I seemed to be really vibing and seemed to be on the same wavelength on many things. There was the small issue of over-eagerness so I asked him to tone it down so that we could get to know one another more slowly and deliberately before diving into any power exchange. And ghost. Gone.

It was tough to realize, but one must move on.
